I'm waiting with you...so ready to know yes or no. Accepted to 2 programs and have to decide. Not sure what to do. Really impressed with frontier.
Yeah, me too. I applied to CNEP and they extended the deadline until April 10th so I'm pretty sure that I won't know until after then. Sigh!! I just finished the Physical Assessment class through Frontier so I at least got a little taste of it. I learned a lot. As a student, you log in via the Frontier portal. Under class, mine recently changed from non-matric to CL139. Not sure what the CL stands for, but I got excited just seeing it. My thoughts are that the CL stands for candidate list, but who knows. Good luck to both of us. I know that I have been talking to another girl who's applied to 139 on the Frontier Hopefuls Facebook page.
When do you have to let the other programs know?
This coming Monday. I've applied for their fnp. Such a huge decision. If I accept a program now, and then if accepted at frontier, I could be out $650 Nonrefundable deposit.
At least you know you have options, but ouch losing $650.00 is tough. I only applied to Frontier so I'm definitely keeping my fingers crossed I get in. I couldn't imagine losing a deposit and paying for travel and registration to Frontier Bound. Frontier really is my first choice though. Kinda sounds like it is yours too.
Have you heard how hard it is to get in? Acceptance %? I just don't know what to do? Put all eggs in basket for frontier, or accept a program now and pay deposit. Then if accepted to frontier, decide to forgo deposit and be frontier bound? I just don't want to pass on other programs, if not accepted to frontier.
Hmm. Hard decision. I wish Frontier wouldn't wait until so close to FB to announce. I have no idea of a percentage accepted. I would think that would vary depending on the number of people who applied to each class. I guess you could accept and then if you got in look at the $650.00 as a security blanket. Even though I don't have the extra money, I would pay the money and risk losing it.
Really appreciate your opinion and input mommy2anangel.
Anyone know the class format? How many classes u take each term? (For the Fnp course plan) I Cannot find It on their website.
Full-time is 3 classes per term. Part-time is 2 classes per term. Terms are 11 weeks long. I think I read that you get a 3 week break in-between each term.
Thanks mommy2anangel!
