Hello,
I am looking for online schools that offer part time FNP programs. I have looked into UCCS- Colorado Springs, American Sentinel School, Walden. None of the schools I spoke to provide clinicals or preceptorship as part of their program.
Any suggestion or recommendations on schools that offer clinicals as part of their program? Also, out of the school mentioned above any feedback - which one is a better program.
Appreciate, all your feedback on schools.

I got accepted into UCCS and Carson Newman for Post MSN FNP. I decided to go to Carson-Newman because they guarantee to find you preceptors and they offer small class sizes.

@ArmyRN79 how do you like it so far? I'm thinking about them for the same reason, although want to confirm they find people local not two hours away. Can you manage while working full-time?
Yes I like the program so far. As far as work load it’s manageable for sure. I’m taking pharm and patho right now, which I thought would be super hard, but the content aligns with both classes at the same time. For instance, when we have lectures on respiratory drugs, we also are going on the respiratory system in advanced patho. Also, the exams are together. So we have 40 questions for pharmacy and 40 for Pathophysiology. As far as the preceptors, I was told they do have people who will help me find preceptors, but they still encourage you to find local agencies and they will reach out to secure it. I’ve already found a FNP at my hospital who is willing to assist with networking since he is also the manager of the clinic.
