FNP Program Requirements

Does anyone know what GRE scores are generally accepted for FNP programs? I'm looking to apply to Old Dominion University and their requirements just say greater than 300.

I'm interested in knowing this too. I'm currently in the online RN-BSN program at ODU. I'd like to apply to their FNP but they only accept full time. I've wanted to talk to current or previous students about how the program went full time. There isn't a lot of information about it.

If you're only looking at getting a nursing degree (and are not applying to other programs that need GRE's), I would suggest taking the MAT's for ODU. Not as intense to study for. I got a 437 on my MAT and am starting the MSN FNP program this Monday. However, this may be the last program they offer for an MSN for NP. I believe next year it is DNP only (twice as long, twice as much $). Best of luck to you!

I've tossed ODU back and forth since they are transitioning to the DNP and that they are full time. But they are close to home and have the online/clinical option I'm looking for. Please let me know how the program is. Are you working while attending?

Hey all,

I applied to ODU for their MSN FNP program for a Fall 2016 date. They haven't been approved for the DNP program yet, so I was told they are still accepting for MSN! Anyone decide to go there last fall? It's hard to get in contact with people at the school...Not much info on here either :(
