FNP program pass rate on boards?

Anyone know a reliable database /source of info on the individual school pass rates for the graduate NP boards? I'd like to research Indiana State U for example. Thanks in advance.

Hi! I too am in Washington State. I was just trying to find the info you are seeking. I was told by the Wa state board of nursing that NCLEX data is avail to the public, but NP pass rate data is only made avail to each school. Therefore, you must call the school to get the info. Doesn't seem quite right to me. Afterall, how does the public know the school is being honest with their numbers!

I am attending Wa State University. It's a very unorganized program, poor quality of education in my opinion. Thus, I have been shopping for other programs. I too researched ISU. Let me tell you, I turned in syllabi from the current university I attend to check for "transferability" of courses 1.5 months ago. No one will get back to me on it. They too, seem very disorganized. The staff is perpetually "out" on conferences. I also researched Ball State. The head of the Nursing Department (Marilyn Ryan/not an NP) there told me I deliberately needed to take a slow track with their FNP program since I only had a few years nursing experience. She then started explaining "Benner's theory of nursing", and how it takes a nurse 7 years to begin to understand what they are doing....and that I must take at least 3-4 years to complete my NP education since I didn't have enough nursing exp going into it. Needless to say I ignored that and will ignore going to Ball State.

What have a found to be a well organized program with a great pass rate? Gonzaga. It's pass rate is 97-100%. The contacts I have made verify that there is consistency and stability in their program. I have interviewed alumni as well. The staff get back to me within hours of my emailing/calls.

Yes, they do have a distance ed program. Good luck to you!

They've been pretty busy over the last few months with multiple BRN's & BON's. You might want to try asking for Dean Acree or Dr. Miller. They're usually pretty responsive.

Did you look at UW? They have over 20 specialties. If I weren't moving to KC, I would go to UW.

Hi:

Don't think UW has a distance FNP option. Even with distance, I would still have to cross the pass a few times. Not as accessible as Spokane, which is closer and no pass! I'm sure they have wonderful programs though.

Yes, Gonzaga's in the town I'll probably move back to in a couple months...I have a job interview for an RN positioin in a cardiac step unit up there... and I'd been looking into their NP programs. They aren't online but... I want to be able to pass boards ya know. ;)
