Nov 7, 201510 yr Admin The flu vaccine is, quite simply, a vaccine. It is not a supplement, and it sounds like perhaps you should review the definition of supplement. Do you have access to a drug guide? You will find that one will be a big help in nursing school as well as while working as a nurse. And why is your patient receiving a flu vaccine every Friday? It's a once a year deal.
