Florida RN pay

Published

Specializes in ICU.

Im interested in moving to the Pensacola/Navarre/Fort Walton Beach area of Florida. I have 6 years of experience. I have experience in Med/Surg, Home Health, and the last two years being ICU. I would prefer to continue being an ICU nurse when I get there. I am planning another visit in either March or April and will possibly put in some applications and talk to HR about some general questions when I get their. What kind of pay should I expect? I know it will be lower than most states but I would like a general idea of hourly pay rates. Thanks for any help!

Hi, I know this post is 9 months old, but I thought I'd respond anyway. I worked at West Florida Hospital in Pensacola, Florida as a staff RN on a Med Surg/Oncology floor and was making $32/hr in 2019. That was with 11 years of experience. West Florida Hospital which is an HCA hospital along with Baptist Hospital are the highest paying hospitals in town. Sacred Heart Hosp is the lowest paying.

Have you been able to find an RN job yet?
