FIU Nursing program

I applied for the fall of 2012 for florida International University and am just anxiously waiting for the answer if i got in. I have a 4.0 gpa, did some volunteer hours, my video came out alright :/ and pretty much passed my HESI so there's a good chance I might get in, if there is anyone out there that has done the program and or is currently in it could shed some light on how the program is. Also, advice if any on preparing before entering the program. Any information would be appreciated!

    Yeah but the class is only 1 day if you do it at FIU and is like $25. My friend told me is only a few hours and they just sent you the certificate by mail. But i was just wondering if we could also take it online? I guess we will fins out once we get the admissions letter.

    I haven't taken CPR classes, and I THINK I heard the background check and drug test are done after we're accepted.

    Yes, another week of waiting. I was told last week by one of the advisers that the earliest that we will be getting a response is sometime this week. This is killing me.

    Did you guys see what Luis posted on his page? He anticipates an answer for us in JULY!!!!! :eek: I don't understand why it is taking so long. Last year they had essays and they got a response around June 8th. Im sure reading essays would have taken as long as watching a 3 min video... It seems like the wait is never ending at this point. :sniff: ....
