Need advise on what to do/say for a long term care interview. How much salary do I ask for as a new grad? How do I say I want "good money" but not come off as a "newby" to the nurse manager? Any advise is much appreciated. God Bless:redbeathe

Honestly I don't think it's wise to state what salary *you* want. Most facilities have a set RN starting pay so I would just state if there's a space for $ you expect to be "starting RN salary".
Especially in this economy and health care mess new grads can't afford to be picky. I understand that we're in one of those cyclical "down" periods that many of the nurses are familiar with. A few years ago it was unheard of to not get offered a sign on bonus, now you're lucky to be offered a job....Good luck!
