Fingerprints

I'm ready to scream!!!!!! I live in NJ and I am applying for endorsement in GA.... I have submitted my nursing application as well as job verification, etc... But getting fingerprints " I feel like I have hit a brick wall" I registered online for cogent! Now obtaining these FBI fingerprint cards and actually getting my fingerprints done is a hassle. I went to my local police station, they do not do them. I went to the state troopers police station, they do not do them! I went to a private agency in nJ and the only do them for the state of NJ....... Can someone please help me! Do I really have to come all the way to Georgia for fingerprinting.

    With the private agency who only does them for the state of NJ... how do they know what you're doing them for? I know it may be different in NJ, but I got mine done in NC and the only lines that were filled out where the fingerprints were done were my name, the date, and the signature of the official that did them. When I did my fingerprints for NC they used LiveScan and all of the info was printed by the computer, but when I was getting just paper copies of the blue fingerprint cards for Georgia, all other fields were left blank and I had to write the information in by hand. I don't think you should have to go out of state to get your fingerprints done.

    I found a private place in Jersey. I had to drive an hour and a half and like you said I had to hand write everything. So hopefully I sent off the right card and there will be no delay. This is crazy
