Finding a job!

Hey fellow Hoosiers!

I know that I'm not the only one in Indiana with this problem so please help! I recently had my license reinstated, am with ISNAP, and can't

get an employer to even look at my applications, or resumes. If I do get past the felony thing, they look at me like I have cooties when I mention ISNAP. Anyone got any good ideas?

Hi there,

Glad you're working on reconstructing life. I would personally have no problem working with a nurse who was in the program. No one else is going to be cleaner given the frequency and degree of testing/monitoring. That said, I understand that it's a bear to get the hiring person to see it that way. I presume you're being very upfront about your circumstances and accepting responsibility, so it's a matter of the right position and the right sell job to the right person.

May I inquire areas of interest in nursing for you?
