Finally!

Let me just start out by saying the start to my career has been more than bumpy! I searched for a job months and months after licensure. I went on countless interviews with nothing. I even once was offered a job and it fell through the cracks. Eventually I sucked it up and went to LTC. I have been in LTC since March, and I have learned a lot. I cant say I like my job though. Then finally i landed my dream job in an ER a few months ago, I was a week from starting and found out one of my references was slandering me and said some very untrue things. Nwedless to say, I lost the job and was totally devastated. I had lost all hope of ever receiving a hospital job. I gave up for about 3 months and tried again with a different hospital network. I am proud to say today that I accepted a job in the CCPU (and references already completed and verified) and will be starting Dec 7th!! This time it felt different. It felt like it was finally my time, and it is! I just want all of you to know if you try and try it will happen. I could not tell you how many times I was knocked down, but I was persistent and it pays off.
