I took the nclex back on June 2016 I was confident I was going to passed since all my classmates were passing. All I did was review some material and did the 250 questions on the kaplan book that is around 45$. Well little did I know that was not going to be enough. Walking out if it I knew I didn't passed but I still had some hope. I felt like it was easy then again, I rushed thru it all. I finished in about 1 hr, and felt like yeah I guessed I passed. Well when I got home I did the pvt and it charged me the money, I tried to still have hope but nope the trick worked I had failed my first try. On my second try I knew material was not the problem, it was not been comfortable with how they ask the questions and how to properly answer them. And obviously not rushing thru the test was a must this 2nd try. So it took me about 3 months to get comfortable and take it again.( I was very depressed bc I had failed) before the test I studied 3 weeks straight and all I did was UWORLD, I finished all the questions, reviewed the incorrect ones, and review the ones I flagged. Finally when I went in to take it, I took my time almost 2 hrs and 15 min I read each question carefully and I finally passed my nclex with 75 questions. If your problem is not content then focus on the questions do ALL of them and you will too, pass the nclex. Good luck everyone.
Thank God for this wonderful accomplishment.
