Finally going for my RN

Published

So...I'm officially going back to school to earn my nursing degree. First time around, I was a bio major and crashed and burned. Literally. Now that I'm 24 and been working dead end jobs for a while, I'm going to try and give university another go. I know I want to work in a hospital and with children and would love to either work in the NICU or Peds. I'm already enrolled at the local community college, and it's tied in with the university here so thought I'd take my nursing prereqs now and then transfer for a BSN. I mean, may as well right?

Congratulations on your journey! I am too a prep nursing student and going for my RN.

Specializes in Peds/outpatient FP,derm,allergy/private duty.

Congrats and all the best to you as you start your journey. The fact you can seamlessly move into a BSN program is great, too!
