Finally finished my PN program

Hello everyone. First I want to say thank you to all that helped me along the way especially with the care plans. I finally finished my PN program and have been off for about a week. I had to take some much needed time for myself or my head was going to explode but now I am in official NCLEX mode.

Question can anyone give me some tips on studying for boards I don't want to over study and I don't want to understudy. I have two NCLEX books and one NCLEX disk book grew legs and disappeared-- that in itself is another story. I plan on doing the questions in these books and going back over my weeknesses but any other tips are welcome.

For instance is there a good way to study all these drugs, I feel completely overwhelmed by drugs. I know lab values are a big thing also on boards. Last but not least I thought I finally had a grasp on acid base balance but when I tried to determine a few based on the pH, CO2 and so on I find myself lost again so any tips/help would be appreciated also.

TIA, Crystal

I just finished my program as well and am trying to get into NCLEX study mode! I am planning on just going to Borders and trying to use a different book each night and study section by section. I too am very worried about pharm. When are you planning on taking your NCLEX?

ASAP, hopefully my school has sent all the required paperwork in to the "Board people" so all I am waiting on is the greenlight saying I am eligible to test.
