Finally EHR

We finally went to EHR so happy, at least for me. One of the nurses came to me and said the parent said they are on Augmentin 600 mg and I can't find it in the drug profile a told her look under Amoxicillin /clavulanate and she replied I don't have a fancy thingy druggy thing like you do . I'm sorry I know we are all getting used to this new computer stuff, but really I would think the nurse would at least know too look it up or at least know the generic version , instead if being testy with me sigh small steps

I really tried to help explain it to her but she was so angry at that point I just put it in myself

My guess is that this incident made her feel even more foolish and incompetent on the new system than she already felt. Cut her some slack. I really don't understand why you are still pondering this. She was overwhelmed and frustrated, it happens. Next time it could be you.

My point is if you ask someone for help you don't need to be rude when you tell them the info they were seeking. It was her tone of voice that you could tell she was being rude. I did cut her some slack I put it in for her. I tried to show her how too look it up and she said she didn't have time. So she still doesn't know to do it. If I don't know something and I ask for assistance you can bet I'm grateful for the help.
