Filling out my Enrollment folder!

I am going to mail it in after all the New Years holidays are over! I am so excited! About how long does it take after you mail in your folder for you to be an officially enrolled student? I really am anxious to take my CLEP exams in January for Growth & Development and Humanities, but I would like to wait until I get my "official" review and have a counselor to talk me through it a little bit more. Does it take a few weeks or is it a right away thing? I really don't want to wait until February to start testing again... Thanks in advance!

I hope everyone is enjoying their holidays! :-)

Anywhere from 2-4 weeks. Good luck!

Good morning beachnurse

good luck, I just heard about a new rule for 2011, that if ur a nurse for greater than 5 years u have to take that extra course-n105. I panic and enrolled last week. Call to c if that's true. Normally Lpn didn't have to take that.

Pixie dust, that is true, I did call and verify that. If you have had your license for 5 years or more as of 2011, you will no longer be exempt from Health Differences. I am pretty sure that the lady I spoke with said if you were enrolled by Dec 31st you would be OK, but I would call to make sure. Good luck :-)

Beachnurse84- it took about 2 weeks for my official evaluation, same week I got a call from my advisor who still call every month... so you should be fine.

Happy New Year to you too girl!!! I am working this whole weekend--five holidays this year! Atleast it's time and a half :-)

Maybe I will come by and say hello Monday AM, I am due for ACLS in March anyways and I really need to get on that lol!

What are you studying for now? Chronicity?

you can CLEP or take any gen eds BEFORE your review has been done so dont worry about that

Girl tell me about it, I was happy to get to work this weekend even though it was a madhouse!!!

So I went to see Pam this morning but it was super early, I asked her if there was anyone else there yet and she said just Marilyn for now. You work in the same building with them right? I will meet you eventually! My schedule is not conducive with any kind of normal life, lol.

I am actually planning to knock the big ones out first once my enrollment is complete. I have already got the study guides for LS3 since I work on a trauma/neuro floor, from reviewing the materials so far I know I can do it and get it out of the way and then go on to LS1 and 2. I am mailing in my stuff tomorrow!! :-) Taking my 6 credit Humanities CLEP on the 20th at PBCC.

Let me know when you are planning on taking LS1. Maybe if we can coordinate a carpool that would be awesome since gas is $3.21 near my house!!! haha.
