Hello Ann. Why don't you go to a thread titled " foreign nurses from the Philippines?" From there you can meet Filipino nurses who are already working in the US. Or just type in the search ' Filipino Nurses" you will encounter threads that are posted by Filipinos or for Philippines nursing. Hope this info help.

In my facility they are doing well. There was a group that came over 25 years ago and six of them are still with us. Recently we hired about 25 and everyone who has taken NCLEX has passed, there are only a couple yet to take the boards. Only one nurse hasn't been doing well and had to transfer to another unit.

I've been very impressed with the Filipino nurses we've just hired. :)
