Hi guyz!...
I just wanna ask few questions. Here's my situation, I'm in Ca right now, a greencard holder, and a foreign graduate from the Phi. Just recently I submitted my application to the Board of Registered Nursing for the RN licensure exam using my married name. I enclosed my marriage contract when I submitted my application, since my TOR and license from Phi are still in my maiden name. Now what really bothers me are the documents sent by my school, All I thought I can used my married name to filled up all those forms needed by my school and just attached once again my marriage certificate but they told my sister that its should be under my maiden and so I once again filled out those forms and sent it to my sister. They told my sister that its gonna be ok but I dont know, I just have this feeling that it may create confusion when it reach to the BRN, what do you think? Is everything just fine? Please I need some enlightenment... Thanx!

Maybe you should deal with them directly and not use your sister as a go-between. Then you'd have the information directly from them and you could ask any questions that occur to you while you're in contact with them.

Every thing needs to be done by you, do not place your sister in that position. You need to send the copy of the marriage license to the BRN in CA when you send in your application as well.
If you would have asked for advice first, it would have been easier all of the way around to have everything submitted with the maiden name and then just submit the marriage license to the BRN after you had their approval. When ever documents arrive under two different names, anything can happen.
But just to add in to this: Did you actually sit for and pass the NLE? If not, you need to be aware that CA will not permit you to sit for the NCLEX without it. Having a green card means that you are still a citizen of the Philippines so that requirement is not waived for you.
Best of luck to you.
