Fellowship is over

Published

Hey everyone, It was awhile back now and I can't find the thread, but I'm the one who was in the critical care fellowship. For those who did not see what this was, it was a three month paid internship. With one day of didactic each week, a simulation day, and an actual day in a critical care unit. It just ended like week and besides a few kinks I feel it was very beneficial overall. The biggest problem encountered was not being able to really do hands on care. We were contracted outside the hospital we did rotations at, and as a result had no insurance at the hospital. Basically, I was able to do assessments and observe. Of course, this is still very beneficial, but I feel I have lost some of my more basic of skills. However, my critical thinking skills are at an entirely different level so once I get my skills back I will be fine. I start orientation October 6th and its go time from there. Scott
