Fast RN to BSN program.

If all goes well, I'll complete school in Dec. However, I also heard that going to RN to BSN is not as stressful. Is there any fast online programs for RN to BSN, that I might can get it in a year. I really don't want to step inside a class room or If I have to, I don't want a expensive school that cost $12,000 a year again. I know the CUNY schools are cheap, but they are strickly 2 yrs. I don't want to postpone of getting a BSN degree.

Wow, you want it all don't you :chuckle

Seriously, unless you have all your other classes (your liberal arts, history, chem, art, music and all that), you will not get away that cheap or that quick. It all depends on how many other classes you have. You figure you need about 20-30 nursing credits, and if you are working full time, it will be a stretch (especially working as a new grad). It certainly is not as hard as your original degree, but it is still time consuming, You will have papers to do and you have to be at class (or online, if that's your choice).

What's the rush anyway! Let your employer pay for it, take your time, get your exoerience as a nurse.

I went to Molloy to finsh my BSN (I had an associates). It took me forever, but I had no college before my ADN. It was pricey, but worth it, IMO.

You can try Stonybrook. They have an online RN-BSN, and it is a SUNY, so it is cheaper than a private college.
