8/21 was my first attempt . I solely used only uworld . Per advice. I completed the whole bank and received high chance of passing with the assessments. I failed with 139 questions:(
My second attempt will be in October. I got right back up to studying . I am now using hurst online review and NCSBN. I have uworld and nclex mastery and mosby cd still as well . I'm so stressed ! 😔 Any advice ? I'm so sad and tried so hard . This time I hope to prevail . Any advice and encouragement , and anyone going along with the same journey ; please respond ! â¤ï¸

I have not been on the same journey, but I have some advice that *might* help you. I took my NCLEX just a few weeks after I graduated, and I did not study anything at all. The computer clicked off at 85, the minimum for LPN's. I passed.
Perhaps you may consider not studying with a study guide, rather, reviewing your Nursing school notes and really understanding those key points. The problem with study guides is that you can learn "X" causes "Y", and that is what you have. In Nursing school we learned that "X" causes "Y and Z". You have understand that and be able to use that info for any questions you may be given. Does this make sense? I am trying to articulate an idea and I am uncertain if I am effective.
If you feel as if you did poorly with a specific condition, example, go back and focus on your Nursing books to really comprehend that condition. Study guides have a lot of questions, but they do not allow you to necessarily understand the entire concept. Perhaps you might try this?

Hi! I'm literally in the same boat. Used Uworld and got very high chance of passing, took my nclex 8/28 and hoping to retake on 10/17 before my vacation. I still feel lost and don't know what else to do. I also bought NCSBN and NCLEX Mastery. I have hurst but I don't know how much content I really need !
