I'm new to the site but Ive visited often in the past. This is my problem. I graduated from nursing school in 2009. Throughout my time in school i often struggled with the testing, i always had to study harder, longer and more than anyone else to get a decently acceptable grade. When it came time for clinical I was always first in my class, always the go to person for other students. When I finally graduated I took Kaplan did all the questions in the Q bank and followed the Kaplan plan. I failed, at the time a had a lot going on in my life included raising 4 kids and going through a messy divorce. I immediately took Kaplan again using the Kaplan guarantee and again no success. Since that time Ive taken probably 6 other review classes but Ive yet to build up the courage to attempt it again. Every time I finish the refresher program I come up with some reason why I'm not ready. I'm so afraid of failing again. Its been over 6 years since Ive been out of school and I wonder if I have it in me to do it. Anyone have any suggestions, I don't want to give up on the profession I love. But I just don't know what to do.....
