Failed NCLEX, first time.

Hey there!, Im new here, but I hope someone can help me. Well, I took my NCLEX this past Monday and I got the results today, which said I failed it. What I was wanting to know is, what do I have to do now, can I go ahead and register and pay the $200 fee to pearson, do I have to reapply to board of nursing and pay the $125 fee to receive another ATT, or can I use the same one I have? it says it expires until April 30! I would appreciate any information. Thank You!

Normally you have to pay for another ATT. It's only a one-time use. I believe you have to submit another application to the board of nursing as if you applied for the first time. You might want to contact your state board of nursing. I do not live in Texas, so I am not sure about the proper procedure. Good luck to you.

I believe that as long as you re-test within the date stated on the ATT, you wouldn't have to re apply although I am not 100% sure. I would call the BON and check just to be positive.

ATT is valid for a single exam. Some states charge fees to retest other BoNs do not. You will be required to re register with Pearson & pay the $200 testing fee regardless if your BoN requires you to reapply/pay again

No. The ATT is valid for a single test
