Failed My First Job Interview

AFter 2 months wait.......I got call from one nursing facility.......

It was like only sun and mon 3 to 11 pm job........

2 ladies took my interview......and they were keep asking me question continue abt 20 min,,,,,,,abt diabetes/dilysis/congestive heart failure/comodin/dilysis shunt/normal INR/kindney failure meds

i was so nervous ....i tryied my best to give answers....and some of question answer i knew it, but couldnt give answer...

They asked me how much do u expect salary? i reply anything i dont care. I just need job so i could start my career. They reply back and says usually we pay 25 $ to New grad LVN.......i was so happy

after interview....i took one quiz.........and they told me they will give me call.......

After 2 days later i decided to call back......and finally they told me that i m not selected.................:down:

Even after passed the NCLEX my tension are not over yet........So pls tell me how to pass future intervews?

Practice, practice, practice. Look up sample interview questions (there's several threads with them here, or look elsewhere on line) and reheorifice your answers. Get comfortable with answering questions...and also with asking them too: look up some questions to ask them about staffing, salary, policies, benefits, etc.

And never tell them that you need a job to start your career, because that comes across to them as "after I get my year's experience I am outta here!" Even though you may not mean it like that, that's how it sounds. Many places are going to be hesitant to spend all the time and money training you when they know you're going to leave a year later, so you want to convey to them that you're looking at being there for a while...because you never know, you may very well be :)
