Failed Math on TEAS

Has anyone else failed the math portion of the TEAS? I think i just didnt spend quite enough time studying for it, however I did pass all the other sections just missed passing math by 3 points :( I didnt do well on ratio/porp. and metric conversions. I swear i though i understood both these things and still feel pretty good about them and do well on practice exams. I think i just got really distracted also about the time.. it really got to me. I was like half was done and only had like 10 mins left. I retake it the 16th.. i sure hope i pass this time.

I failed the math also by 1 point. I passed all the other ones as well.

I had trouble in the conversions also -___-

Time was my problem.

You should try purchasing the study guide and going over the math problems over and over again. What's in the study guide is very similar to what's on the TEAS so for me it was a HUGE help. If I hadn't studied with the study guide and had just gone in to take the test I would have failed for sure! There were so many basic things like fractions and conversions that I took for granted because I've always been able to use a calculator but using the study guide really helped me to brush up on all those basic skills. Good luck next time!
