FAFSA - How do apply for financial aid for ABSN and MSN at the same time?

I'm applying to both ABSN and EMSN programs for the 2014-2015 year. On the FASA website I can only choose BSN or MSN from the drop down bar when applying for financial aid. How can I ensure that FAFSA understands that I am applying to both kinds of programs and disperses the correct loans for each program type?

FAFSA determines your EFC, the school develops your financial aid package. There are certain loans that are only for grad students. There are few federal grants/loans for 2nd bac students.

I am in the exact same boat! Calls to schools were no help, but I did some searching on this board. Someone posted that a rep from FAFSA told then to submit first as a second degree student, let it process (1-2 days, you'll get an email) then to modify it and put graduate/professional degree. That way, whichever school you decide, will have access to both. Hope that helps!

Well, my ABSN school said to apply as a grad student, which might make it okay since the school itself decides the rewards, I think. I believe I've seen you on the CSULA board, and that's what the ABSN/EMSN assistant told me.
