F&E Test

60% of my class failed F&E test. I passed but feel bad for fellow students who are a smart bunch.

Any opinions about that percentage of failing? Below 78% is failing and test was 100 questions.

I once presented to my instructors, in writing, concerns about shockingly low test scores among peers. The official response was, "They can make it up on future exams."

No one found it that comforting, but many have made up some ground.

It's common knowledge at my school that "everyone fails the f&e test." And in previous years that has been true, but we have 5 five tests in that class after wards and people have always been able to make it up. This year only a couple of people failed it. I think the instructor likes people thinking her class is hard, so they put the effort into learning the material and really work on passing.

Is the 60% failing, a trend from previous years? Or is it a new instructor teaching the material and she hasn't found her groove yet?
