Exposure

Many years ago, while working with an agency in London, I had finished a very looooong night shift and was riding the tube home to a very much needed sleep. After a few stops, and through my sleep deprived haze, I noticed the tramp sitting in the seat across the aisle from me had been staring at me with a funny look on his face. Imagine my fit of supressed giggles when I noticed that he had one side of his trench coat pulled right across is lap with one hand with a very rythmic movement happening in the groin area.

Now imagine my scream of laughter, when he caught on to the fact that I knew what he was 'up' to, and decided to discretely reveal the old one eyed trouser snake. The 'twin set and pearls' elderly lady sitting next to him gave me the dirtiest look for disturbing her, but only succeeded in making me laugh all the more, as she had no idea what was going on next to her!

It is these small moments that make nightshifs just that bit more memorable.
