Hi to all my healthcare professionals. I have been a nurse for over 8 yrs and I am currently looking for a different avenues in nursing. I'm so burnt out from bedside nursing. I have been looking into different insurance companies but no luck. I have a 3y/o and 12hr shift is killing me. Help please!

Welcome to AN!
Is it primarily the 12 hour shifts that are causing the burn out? Sometimes, just changing specialties can help alleviate the burnout and offer different shift schedules. What about a procedural area? My OR is staffed primarily by people working 8 hour shifts, although there are a few working 10s or 12s. Our endo area is 8 hours, as is our cath lab. Then there's other options such as school nursing, case management, education, ambulatory offices, and a few others that may offer more of what you're looking for.
