experience required for nz registration

good day..i have an inquiry regarding experience required for nz registration..is there anyone here that has a Libyan experience that had been accepted in nz nursing council.. ? there is a possibility that experience form Libya would not be accepted since Libya does not have a licensing body for nurses..the nursing council replied that i have to provide a registration certficate from libya..i hope you can share if you have information regarding my problem..thank you so much..

    It would be slim then, that you will be considered for Registration as a nurse if you have never had registration as a nurse and therefore no record of good standing. Also your nursing course needs to be an approved course for nurses by a registration organisation for nurses in country of origin as well. If there is not nursing registration board this would not be possible. Your nursing course would need to be on par with the a degree nursing course in New Zealand.

    i am a registered filipino nurse with 1 yr and 9 mos paid work experience in the philippines..the thing that bothers me was that i worked in libya and this place doesnt have a licensing body for nurses..the nursing council replied that i have to provide a registration certficate from libya..i am thinking that there is a possibility that my work experience in libya will be not credited and my philippine experience will not satisfy the two years post registration experience within 5 years..
