Experience to Get into Nursing School

Hi! So im going to be beginning the process of applying to nursing schools soon. I will be graduating next year and plan on enrolling in an ABSN program after I graduate. I've taken all my science pre-reqs, and have maintained about 3.7 GPA for those, with a 3.5 overall GPA. I also plan on taking the GRE and TEAS exams in the next few months. I feel confident in my grades, but the only thing holding me back is my limited experience in an actual health care setting. I volunteered in a hospital for one summer, but thats about it. Just wondering, how much do schools look into one's prior clinical experience when considering one's acceptance?

It varies by school. Mine required none, while another school 30 minutes out required you to be a CNA. The only way for you to know for sure is to contact the school.
