I have my B.S. in Kinesiology. Have worked as a PT aid, personal trainer, elderly caregiver, internship at eating disorder clinic, and counselor at an AOD treatment center. I really want to increase my chances of getting into an ABSN program.
Do you think I should try to get work experience as a CNA or MA? I think I already have a good amount of caregiver experience in my background that admissions committee can see but have never actually shadowed a nurse. I'd prefer to just volunteer once a week, but also am willing to do whatever it takes to get into school.
Thanks!
