Has anyone taken the Excelsior Statistics test? If so how was it? How long did you study for it? Any info will be helpful.....

I almost did, but then I saw the course outline...Yikes- scary! I will be taking this one in a classroom...I'm not very math-minded. :chuckle
:) I was thinking the same thing, I haven't made a decision yet.

An Excelsior counselor guided me to University of Texas online Nursing 347 Statistics course. It was much more focused (easier) than a community college course. Hope this helps-
Thanks

What is this stat test and when do you have to take it? What does it consist of? Is there a site to go to that clearly explains all that is required of EC for the LPN to RN program? I am so confused.
Thanks for any help!

Toomanypets...why don't you give EC a call on their toll free number and get them to send you a School of Nursing package. It contains a wealth of information on prerequisites, required nursing courses, electives, etc. It also gives examples of courses which EC offers that fit the non-nursing course requirements. I just happened to be giving a friend information on EC tonight, and was going through the School of Nursing catalogue, so I know it answered a lot of her questions. Good Luck!
