Hello! So, I've been applying all over the place trying to get a pca or uncertified nursing assistant job for about a year now, with no luck. I finally found a nursing home in my are that is taking applications for a paid CNA training class! A friend told me about it, because she had just applied, so I applied right away. Now I am home and thinking about it, and I am assuming the class is Mon-Fri during the day for however many weeks the class takes... If that is so there's no way I'd be able to do it, because I got to school during the day 5 days a week.
Has anyone experienced, or heard of a LTC facility doing their CNA training during 2nd shift instead of 1st? Am I an idiot for even thinking this is a possibility? Of course, I will probably call and ask them tomorrow, but I was just wondering if any place actually does this.

The only facility in my area that offers free CNA training ONLY offers it in the evenings...
...so don't give up all hope just yet. There are places out there that still do it.
phwew.. that gives me a little hope! thanks!
