Essex County College (ECC) RN Program - Fall 2026 start

Hi everyone! 👋 I wanted to start this thread for all of us anxiously awaiting our acceptance letters for the ECC Newark nursing program starting in September. Since we're all playing the waiting game, I thought it would be great to create a community where we can share helpful info, connect, and swap our application scores/stats while we wait!     Hello I took the TEAS today at the college finished in a little over 2 hours (way too quick) but got a 77.3% and I have a 3.63 GPA and also an Essex County resident so I'm at 16.99/20 for my standing hoping that's enough but I guess we'll see!

    I took mines Saturday and got a 71.3 with a 3.24, I'm also a Essex resident. 15.61/20 hopefully that's good enough 🤞🏾

    Hey I also applied here anxiously waiting really wanted to score higher on the TEAS but I'm also grateful I passed...I got a 70. My GPA is 3.8 and I'm a resident so currently 16.6/20 🤞🏾 Good Luck to us all

    Here's hoping we all get in and realize our dreams of working in healthcare and saving lives. My GPA at the time of application was 3.85. My TEAS score was 81.3%, and as an Essex County resident, my overall point total is 17.83.

    Hey everyone! I got an 80.7% on the TEAS, my GPA is 3.3 and Im a resident so that brings me to 16.67 out of 20. Good luck to everyone!!

    It says via email we will know after June 30th of our admission status🤞🏾 hopefully we get something this week or by Monday! I hope we all get in!
