Essay Question

Hi Guys,

I am writing up an essay the Title is Mental Health Interventions,Community Inpatient and Primary Care Settings.

Could someone please clarify for me the difference between Community Inpatient and Primary Care Settings. I would of thought they are the same but not sure, any help would be greatly appreciated. Also any other tips for the essay would be great.

Thanks guys..!

I may be way out of line here, but are you sure there shouldn't be a comma between "Community" and "Inpatient"?

We are in different countries (I am in US) and maybe things are a lot different there than I realize (I am aware that much of the terminology is different!), but, here, "community" mental health refers to outpatient mental health centers/clinics (where people come for appointments and then leave) and "inpatient" refers to inpatient hospital psych units (where people get admitted and stay for a number of days, like any other hospital inpatient unit). In the US, those two terms are mutually exclusive -- there is no such thing as "community inpatient" mental health treatment. "Primary care" refers to medical doctors'/providers' offices (GP/family practice/internal medicine), and they do deal with with many clients' mental health issues.

Again, I apologize if my comment is irrelevant.
