ER Orientation Manual

I am working on a school project developing an ER Orientation Manual. I want to incorporate adult learning behaviors into my manual. I am hoping you all can help me find resources for ER competency tests, checklists, etc. What should I be putting in this manual? What kinds of information did you guys find helpful when you were learning the ER?

Any help would be appreciated.

wow, i'm sorry i don't have any advice to offer you.....especially for a school project, but I think that you'd defniitely need to have ED experience before you write an orientation manual. Best of luck on your assignment.

Check out these resources (great websites!):

Also, speak to the nurse manager or nurse educator of the ED unit at your local hospital and ask about their competencies, etc. This would be your best source. Best wishes to you on your school project :balloons:
