Entering 4th Week

Well, I've started my fourth week of nursing school; I'm enrolled in an accelerated BSN program and the past several weeks have been busy. I would have to say that time management skills are very important to possess when entering into a nursing program. There is just so much going on e.g., lectures, labs, clinicals, group meetings, papers, PowerPoint presentations, research, check offs, etc. We've learned everything from hand hygiene to isolation procedures to administering non-parenteral medication. Also, I've never seen so much reading assigned. Typically, I've always made sure to complete the reading assignments because I'm a bit of an independent learner, however. It's just not possible. Anyway, just wanted to wish everyone well that's in a program and good luck to those in the application process and now, it's back to studying.
