Enrolling for School

I'm interested in achieving my BSN-RN but I need to get my prereqs first. I'm wondering if it would be smarter to go to the same school for both (as far as loans go) or does it really matter if I transfer my credits? I also don't know how to get started on the process or where to go. I'm lost at this point. All I know is that I'm ready. I don't know who to ask. I'd appreciate someone to guide me in the right direction, please and thank you. -Denver, CO

Not in terms of loans per se- but it is wise to do prerequisites at the university you hope to attend because you are sure of getting the right ones. For example, if School A requires a 4 credit micro class- you take the 4 credit micro class they offer. But what if school B requires a 3 credit micro class AND a 2 credit lab? Well, you're screwed.

So, the best approach is to have a list of several potential schools, and take prerequisites that will work for any of them. A spreadsheet is a good way to keep all of the information in one place. That way, you have covered all of your bases.
