Hello Everyone,
I live in NYS and NPs are allowed to practice independently. I'm looking into doing some home visits on the side. I was looking into documentation software's especially e-prescribing; they are not cheap. Any advise, experience or affordable one out there? Since I don't know how this will turn out, I don't want to break the bank for it. Any advise will be much appreciated. Thank you!

Look into practice fusion. It does all of what you are looking for.

TalkEHR (https://www.talkehr.com/) is very good. Has full EHR, Practice Management, and Patient portal, video telemedicine etc.... You can use it for EPrescribing as well. I use IPrescribe (Android but I think they have IPhone) for EPCS and also some regular prescribing. I used to help with Epic Design and know quite a bit about EHR's. There is also OneTouch EHR but I like the reports that TalkEHR has and it has Video Telemedicine.
Both are good systems. TalkEHR has more features and I like the PHR app for patients where they can send messages etc.. from their phones.
