Can someone please tell me about this school. I don't care about tuition costs, I want to know if it's all that it's hyped up to be....
I am seriously considering to go there, so if I'm making a poor decision, please warn me. Are there any students currently at Emory in here? Please respond...:)

I am not a current Emory student, but got my BSN there in 1993. I bridged from ADN to BSN and thought it was a fantastic program. We were treated like collegues and with respect. I have nothing but good things to say about them. It is nice that you are not concerned about money.....that will change when you become an RN....LOL!
Thanks for the reply, but theres gotta be at least one nursing student at Emory in here...

I will graduate from Emory in May of 2005. Unfortunately I don't think this program is any better (or worse) than any of the other programs. IF you can get into KSU They have a great program at a much cheeper cost. I am not trying to say that Emory is bad, but any program is what you make of it. I am a nontrad. student with a previous Bach. degree in a non related area. I did my pre reqs at KSU and applied to 4 diff schools in the area. I choose Emory because my husband is in the military and I needed a program that was short enough to finish before we moved again.
I will say that as of late Emory has had more applications then usual boosting there class size from about 60 a few years ago, to 90 with my class and 100 for the class graduating in 2006. In clinical you will have a 6 to 1 ratio which as far as I know (which is not much) is one of the best in the state.
I enjoy Emory, but as with all things one wonders if the grass is greener on the other side.
Hope this helps
