Eli Whitney Tech

Hello everyone, my name is Ashley. I was wondering if anybody on here applied to eli whitney and were accepted or not accepted. I wasn't accepted but was put on a waiting list, and i'm number 7 or 8 :cry:. I'm really hoping that I can get in there or somewhere, but for that to happen some people will have to decline the program.

Ashley,

Stay encouraged.... people drop out of the lineup all the time. Especially closer to the program when they realize they reallly cant work. You have a real chance.... Where was your 2nd chose?

well my other choice was st. vincent's but I didn't get into the program...but maybe that was for the best because I would have to travel from new haven to bridgeport everyday and I don't have my own transportation yet. So I was counting on getting into eli whitney, and i'm still hoping. I have been looking into stone academy and lincoln tech as back up. I went to stone academys info session yesterday and their lpn cost 22,000:eek:. I cannot bring myself to pay that not for lpn, but I am getting a little desperate. Anyway I'm still hoping that eli whitney comes through!

Good Luck with Eli Whitney ! I just graduated this past Friday!

I know that we lost a good amount of people at the end of A&P. Which is the end of the semester .

I don't really know how the waiting list goes! GOOD LUCK!

I am actually thinking about apply to Eli Whitney for next year. I need to do my prerequisites first. Any info about the program from those who are in it, or just graduated would be helpful!

Well I took a week off . I needed it. I will take my boards in about a month so end of July or so. I started to review nclex pn books and the new format cd's.

I have not started to look for a job yet. I might wait till I pass boards.

Any other questions send um my way! I will be happy to pass info along!

Hello everybody...I'm happy to say that I was called off the waiting list today for Eli Whitney and I was asked did I still want to be in the program!!!:yeah:So I'm in the program starting 2008, I'm so nervous, excited, and happy! Is there any one else starting at eli whitney??:jester:

See Ashley, I told you!!! I am sooo happy for you. Get some beach time, sleep, sleep, sleep.... do a little bit of shopping and get ready... the LPNs before you can tell you want to expect.:ancong!:

student/mother/247 i have a question for you.

I too have been recently accepted into the LPN program however i am all the way in hartford at prince tech.

I have a friend that got accepted at howell cheney tech. She applied for financial aid and was told that despite being approved she would still have to come up with $1350.00 by the first day of class which is august 27th. If you dont mind me asking can you please tell me how the financial aid process was when u applied if you did?
