Electronic Observation Devices.

Hello everyone,

I am starting as Information Officer in my hospital. We are going to implement the electronic Observation software soon for the wards. I would like to know, for those who already use elctronic charts in the wards, what kind of devices do you use? Are those devices given to each nurse or do you have a number of them available in your area to use? Can you use that device for every task, or do you need other devices for the different nurses tasks (i.e.: blood samples request, printing lables, charting of observations, chart of medication...).

I would really appreciate knowing more about it to start looking for devices for my organisation.
