ECU ABSN Spring 2020

Hi everyone! I realized there wasn't a thread yet for those of us applying to ECU's ABSN Spring 2020 cohort. I'd love to share questions and concerns with others who are applying!

    Hi! I just decided to apply, they informed me that the extended the deadline to July 1 so I'm currently studying for the HESI ?

    Yay! I saw online that they extended the deadline. I took the HESI about a month ago and found it much easier than I was expecting! Do you have all of your prereqs completed? I am taking chemistry this summer (finishing before August 1) and I'm nervous that will set me back as it says priority is given to applications who have prereqs completed before applying.

    I actually used to go to ECU, and I didn't get in the first time (missed the A&P HESI Section by 1 question!!!!!) But I'm retaking CHEM 1130 to get a higher score. I'm in it right now so I'll be done by August 1!

    Good luck!! Do you happen to know if extending the deadline affects the date they send out decisions? I got in to a school in Virginia that starts at the end of August, but ECU is my top choice. I hope I will find out from them with enough time to make a decision.
