ECPI

I am currently enrolled in ECPI's LPN program. I was wondering if anyone had graduated from here and if y'all knew any colleges that would accept the credits from ECPI for a LPN-RN bridge program at any college in NC or even surrounding states. Thanks

Hey futurenurse333. I graduated from ECPI in 2011. I attended the campus in Greenville, SC. I'm almost done with Excelsior College LPN-RN program

Excelsior accepted a few of my LPN credits. When I attended the school it was ECPI College of technology. Now its ECPI University. I was told that the reason they changed their name after I graduated was so that colleges would accept all of our courses. They were having a lot of problems with students transferring credits to other schools. I hope this helps.

I've heard excelsior is expensive (cost not that much of a concern) but I've heard it's very hard during the clinical portion. How has your experience been?

Im waiting on the next fcca opening, which will be Jan 4th. Excelsior is a hard program, but its a good program. After I complete the FCCA, I will be eligible to apply for the CPNE which is the clinical weekend. So far lots of people I have watched complete the program have passed the clinical weekend on their firsrt try. One girl only had 9 days to study and she passed. I will update you on my progress. So far I've passed all of my exams on first try no failures. I used TCN, excelsior practice exams and study guide, and saunders comprehensive nclex book. I've spent around 3k so far. Not that expensive. Most people I ran across on this blog spent around 7k.
