ECPI RN program schedule

I'm looking into Richmond, Virginia ECPI next year. What is the class schedule like ? Is clinicals on weekends? I work every other weekend. I need to know if the school accommodates work schedules. Please any advice will help.

Hi! I'm currently enrolled in the ECPI/MCI RN program as a night student. The night students have clinicals almost exclusively on the weekends (except for peds due to school clinic visits). The day class has their clinicals almost exclusively during the week. For example, their classes would be on TU and THUR with clinical rotations on MWF. The classes are intense, but great. The instructors are knowledgeable, and the clinical experiences have been invaluable. Each term or "mod" is five weeks, and some terms have 45 classroom hours with 90 clinical hours.

So A LOT of reading and studying on your own time, in addition to class work/tests/clinicals/etc. BUT it's definitely doable! Staying organized is the key. That being said, the expectation is that this is your priority, so while they might accommodate one change for work/family they won't be able to accommodate changes all the time. Hope this helps! Good luck to you!
