Hi everyone,
I'm a high school senior who's quite interested in nursing. In fact, I know that I want to be a pediatric nurse practitioner.
One of the schools I'm looking at is D'Youville College in Buffalo, NY, and the main reason for that is that it's got a 5-year BSN/MSN program so rather than having to do my undergrad stuff and then apply to a graduate program, I could streamline it with one continuous program and undergrad tuition the entire time.
So, what I'm wondering is what do you guys think of D'Youville? I mean, is it a respectable school for nursing? And is the 5 year program worth it?
Thanks!

Hello young lady, you can always check US News and Reports for information on the best schools. Also, check the NIH to see who gets the most funding for nursing research. That is a good way to judge which schools are really funded for nursing research. Good luck young lady. My daughter is 15 in the 10th grade she is still undecided glad to see you already know what you want to do.

the 5 yr program at dyovlle is an option. You can always just do the BSN. I am interested in finding out how the instructors are, what clinicals are like, and just info on the overall program
