Dual PNP program at UAB

Hi everyone. I am in need of information regarding the Universtiy of Alabama at Birmingham's dual acute/primary care PNP programs. I have a 9 year history of NICU experience but was hoping to enter an FNP program. (silly without adult experience I know)I was notified this week by UAB that I was not accepted into the FNP fall 2012 program, however, they were asking if I would be interested in the dual program. I have only 1 year true peds experience, and that was 10 years ago. My end goal is to work in a ped office. I am all over the place. Any advice appreciated.

    Hi there - did you ever hear anything or get into program? I am interested in this program now but cannot find anything. Any info on this is GREATLY appreciated! As well as any "advice"you have gotten or heard on transferring a few credits into program - I do know it is capped off at 12 but heard any experience??
