DTCC (Delaware Tech) student 2017

Hello everyone,

I applied to Delaware Tech's (DTCC) nursing program starting in January 2018. The deadline is August 15,2017!

I haven't seen any recent posts from other students that are applying. I am super nervous because I really want to get a seat in the program (just like every other person that is applying).

If you are applying or already in the program please feel free to post and share any information that may be helpful.

What campus are you applying too? Have you heard any rumors going around about the programs? Do you have any reviews about the programs? What are clinicals like? etc...

Goodluck to everyone! :)

I applied last January for August admission and missed getting in due to the high number of applicants with 16 points so I'm reapplying after retaking Math 129 to get a better grade. I have 13 points for ranking this time, so I'm hoping I will make it in.

For the Fall semester I'm taking HLH, Intro to Microbiology & Technical Writing.

I attend at the Stanton campus.

Good luck!

The exams for lecture are mostly based on class notes, I'm going into my last semester of clinicals at Stanton and the tests are hard but passable. I don't know about needing 15 or 16 because I know people who got a seat with 12 or 13 for the past three semesters. Clinicals can be an amazing learning experience or a nightmare depending on who your clinical instructor is each class. I've had four that were great and one that was terrible (he doesn't work there anymore). There are a bunch of signoff skills that you must learn & demonstrate in lab, practice these! Good luck!

Thank you so much for your response! :)

I got into the program! Everyone registered for 170 today, but I am still paying off the HLH 130 class that ends next week. The morning class is of course closed now. So I am pretty sure the evening clinical will still have a seat by the time I pay everything off. I was looking up the booklist and the books are so expensive haha.

Goodluck to you also! You're almost finished. Yay!

Hi deltch students has anyone done these courses Eng 101 , 127 and 100. If yes can I buy or rent the books?

Hey everyone. I plan to apply to the accelerated dtcc nursing program this March! I am applying with 15/16 points and I want to know more about it such as is it worth it or if i should just do the regular program and how likely I am to get in??

Is anyone currently at Dover campus?
