Drug Testing

Sorry in advance if this question has already been posted...but I've never had this issue before...

I am currently looking for work and applying to jobs(I had a new baby so work hiatus), but I recently had to go to the ER for severe muscle spasms in my low back so bad I couldn't move and brought tears. I have a valid Rx for a muscle relaxer and Percocet, but am now concerned about pre-employment drug screen if called to interview. Hopefully this severe back pain won't last for long and I won't need the medication...but is this an automatic disqualifier? I obviously wouldn't be taking these at work in any way....hopefully won't need them by then. :(

Many employers are only looking for illegal or unprescribed use. This isn't true of all employers though and some prohibit use of even use as prescribed, so it's always good check to see that their policy is.
